Close to the village of Bourg-Et-Comin on the edge of the champagne region, it is an easy 2 hour 20 minute drive from Calais with only one toll road on route to the lake. All of the local amenities, including a supermarket, McDonalds, Tobacs and a petrol station are within 9 kilometres, in the town of Fismes.

A stunning 12 acre lake overlooked by the famous Luna Towers (maize silo). The lake is completely tree lined giving that old English estate lake feel and ranges in depth from 4-11 feet.
Fishing at Lac Luna has been described as next level carping compared to your average French fishing experience. From the stunningly dark original strain of carp to the beautiful handpicked stocked fish, we tick all the boxes to build your photo album. Certain swims have snaggy margins to fish to, where others dominate an open water approach. It can test your angling, but the rewards are very special indeed.
Early in the year we get a healthy weed growth in certain areas, this takes out all the micro fines in the water creating a tap water effect. The fish are easily visible in the clear water and will show regularly, teasing you and building the height of anticipation.
By using a boat and setting traps there can be no better presentation and this method is deadly. Once the weed dies back, we start to get colour in the water. Prodding sticks and markering up are essential to locate their feeding areas, however the advice given onsite is the best way to start as we watch the water week in, week out.
With the new additions of 4 industrial aerators, we can ensure that the oxygen levels in the lake are constant all year round.
Lac Luna is situated in the Picardie region and is set in 15 acres of picturesque French countryside.
Lac Luna first opened its doors in June 2021, with an unknown stock we left it to the anglers to uncover the original carp that reside here, as time went on 65 different originals were caught up to 62lb.
We put our own stocking programme into place, and today we now have 175 carp total up to our lake record known as Jesus at 65lb 8oz, this fish was one of our stocked fish in January 2022 at just 35lb, who knows how big Jesus will get!!!
Our lake record common known as Zeus stands at 58lb 4oz, this fish was stocked December 2023 at 52lb 14oz.
We also have around 35 grass carp all at a decent size, with many of them being 50lb plus up to around 58lb.
We aim to keep the stock around 170-190 carp, we think this is just the right number to keep Luna how it should be, not easy, but also not hard.
We will stock the lake with around 10/15 fish every winter to keep the stock around the numbers we would like and also replenish any fish that sadly pass away, all future stocked fish will be 30lb plus.
