Booking around Spawning
With Lac Luna being a holiday venue that's full 90% of the year, and booked up in years to come, spawning times are very unpredictable. It is impossible for us to close for 3 months in the "Spawning window".
We all want to catch carp at their biggest weights and just before spawning is just that time, so it is a gamble to book around this time but a gamble that can most certainly pay off.
This being said, the previous 3 years the spawning has been over and done within 3-4 days, generally in pegs 1 & 9 where the weed is the thickest.
If you are fishing Luna whilst the carp start to spawn, we close the swims where the carp are spawning. It is a known fact that not all carp spawn at the same time so there is always chance of a fish or two away from the mayhem!
With this being said, booking around spawning time is done so at your own risk. You will be asked to move swims if the carp are spawning in your water. This is to keep the carp as safe as possible during these times.
Note If you cancel the booking within the 12 weeks of the holiday date, or don't show up, the fee will be the total price of the booking.
