Our rules exist to safeguard our fish stocks and ensure that you have an enjoyable visit to Lac Luna. Please read these rules carefully before you fish.
  1. 3 Rod limit per person, fishing 1 swim at any one time from the designated swims shown on the map, NO stalking.
  2. Only fish in your water, respect the swim boundaries in place.
  3. Only micro barbed hooks to be used in sizes 2-6.
  4. Minimum mainline in 0.35mm/15lb to be used, braid as a mainline is also allowed only when fished with tubing/safe zone leader.
  5. No fixed leads, we highly recommend dropping the lead.
  6. Safe zone style leaders are permitted, no other leaders are to be used, this includes lead core & leadless leaders.
  7. One zig per person may be used, please keep these to open water, anyone seen putting a zig near the aerators or snags will be asked to leave.
  8. Nets, mats & slings are supplied, please do not bring your own on site, this includes weighing tripods.
  9. We, the bailiffs weigh every fish for you, so please do not weigh our fish or remove them from the lake before the bailiff is on hand.
  10. No unattended rods under any circumstances.
  11. Every angler must have their own fish care treatment with them.
  12. No fish to leave the water without a bailiff present.
  13. When transferring fish from the lake to the unhooking mat, please ensure this is done in a weigh sling, do not lift any fish in the net.
  14. Rigs must be removed from the fish as soon as they have been landed.
  15. Slinging times vary week by week, please refer to the sign in the lodge or the whatsapp group for times.
  16. Every fish is weighed & photographed by us, please do not return any carp without the bailiff being present.
  17. Any fish likely to be 45lb or bigger is not to leave the water, weighing and photographs will take place in the lake, please ensure you have your own waders.
  18. If you become snagged, please call the bailiff for assistance - DO NOT pull for a break.
  19. No bait boats or inflatable boats - only Lac Luna boats are to be used, you may bring your own electric outboards.
  20. If using a boat, no waders are to be worn, life jackets MUST be worn at all times, no second chances.
  21. H-blocks of any kind are only to be used when finding spots, they cannot be in the lake with live rigs out. ONLY marker poles are allowed.
  22. No open fires, BBQ's are permitted as long as they are off the grass.
  23. All rubbish is to be taken home.
  24. Please keep noise to a minimum, respect the venue, facilities & other anglers.

Bait Rules

Between March 1st to October 31st any frozen boilie may be used, alongside house pellet only. No other bait is permitted.

In the months of February and November only, any frozen boilie may be used, alongside the house particle mix and the use of 1 gallon of maggots per angler, per week, so approximately 1 pint a day.

Any other bait is BANNED! This includes sweetcorn, any particle, any nuts and any naturals throughout the whole year.

You will be asked to leave the lake immediately if you are found to be in breach of any of the above rules.
